Kalrez o-ring or FFKM perfluoroelastomer

Perfluoroelastomer rubber, which is introduced in the ASTM and ISO standards under the name FFKM, was introduced to the market by DuPont under the name of Kalrez. This elastomer has chemical properties similar to PTFE and elastic properties similar to FKM. High strength, chemical resistance against more than 1800 chemicals, acids and amines and high heat resistance up to about 320 degrees Celsius are the key features of this elastomer. Due to its prominent features, it is widely used in sensitive and special processes such as jet engines and airplanes, air and space industries, semiconductor chip manufacturing, chemical and oil and gas industries, pharmaceutical industries and high temperature processes. FFKM producing companies use it in several formulas based on vinylidene fluoride (VDF) or tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) monomers and their polymerization together with groups such as hexafluoropropylene (HFP), perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether. (PAVE), produce perfluoromethyl vinyl ether (MVE)
